- -Have a basic understanding of common mental illnesses, including depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and severe mental illness. -Identify symptoms of mental problems and crises and intervene when appropriate. -Learn to provide appropriate support to the client through 5 key tasks before the problem worsens. Certificate Those who complete the full course will be awarded a "Mental Health First Aid" course completion certificate issued by the Association. The Hong Kong Mental Health Association is the only organization recognized by "Mental Health First Aid International" to issue certificates in China (including Hong Kong and Macau). Participants will receive a Chinese manual of the "Mental Health First Aid" course.
